This page explains how React Egypt, operated by React for Creative Solutions ("React", "we", "us", or "our"), handles exchanges, returns, and warranty (maintenance) for products bought from reacteg.com or from our store. It sits alongside our Terms of Service, and your statutory rights under Egypt's Consumer Protection Law No. 181 of 2018 always apply in addition to the terms below.
1. Exchange / replacement policy
- We will replace any product that is damaged, not working, or has a manufacturing defect, at no additional cost to you, when you send the exchange request within 21 days of receiving the product.
- The product is inspected first to confirm the issue. Once confirmed, the exchange is completed within 48 working hours at most when the item is delivered to our main service center.
- If a product is burned or broken by the customer, it may be exchanged for 50% of the price listed in the company's price list, and only during the warranty period.
2. Return policy and conditions
- The return policy applies for 14 days from the date of the purchase invoice.
- You must provide valid proof of purchase (such as the invoice and the shipping waybill).
- All returned products must be in their original condition — sealed in their original packaging with all accessories included.
- Used or incomplete products cannot be returned.
- Every returned product is inspected. If we find any of the reasons above, or any damage caused by misuse, or that the goods are not in their original condition when we receive them, or that the original packaging is missing, we will unfortunately have to cancel the return request.
3. Maintenance and warranty policy
The warranty is valid for one (1) year from the date the product was purchased, except for the products below, which carry the warranty period shown:
- Sonoff products — 7 years
- K Zosar products — 5 years
- eWeLink products — 2 years
- Surpass products — 2 years
- RFID products — 2 years
- Solar-power products / Access Control (SIB) — 2 years
- LEZN smart locks — 6 years (battery and lock core: 1 year)
- LEZN hotel locks — 2 years
- LEVANA smart locks — 7 years
- BOSCH smart locks — 2 years (battery and lock core: 1 year)
- PNDA smart locks — 5 years (battery and lock core: 1 year)
- Battery and smart-lock core (no brand) — 6 months
- Door Closer — 3 months (when installed by the company)
- Solar-power accessories and phone accessories — 3 months
- No warranty on: RFID tags, CCTV internet/cabling, CCTV chargers and power supplies, hard disks, CCTV accessories, coins, cards, bolts, and buried/mortise locks.
- Repair time is up to 14 working days for faults covered by the warranty, when the item is delivered to our main service center.
- The warranty covers free repair or replacement of spare parts when there is a manufacturing defect, for customers who bought from us or from our authorised distributors. The warranty does not mean replacing the whole product or refunding its value.
- If the product was not installed by us, maintenance is carried out inside our branch and not through an on-site visit.
The warranty does not cover faults caused by:
- Misuse of the product — breakage, impacts, cuts, or exposure to external factors such as liquids, humidity, high heat, or low/high voltage.
- Attempts to install, repair, or service the product by centers that are not affiliated with our company.
4. Important notes
- The invoice stamped by the company is the main proof of your warranty rights. If it is lost, the product is considered out of warranty.
- The company is not responsible for the loss of the invoice or the loss of any of the product's accessories.
